About Your New Leonberger Club of Great Britain Website

Our website is based on the original design work of Bill Lill who was our Clubs web designer during 2009 until June 2010, this version of the Clubs website was originally developed by this young man as part of his university degree. We have now moved the site on in its development and have painstakingly re-worked the format to make it easier to maintain and navigate.

All the members of the committee worked hard to update and reproduce old tired documents to give them a new lease of life and make them useful once again.

As with previous versions of the Clubs website you will find many documents for downloading in the relevant sections available. We would like to draw your attention in particular to the restructured health section where you can find documents that you can download and to the Welfare section where the various welfare forms reside.

We have a wonderful selection of photo's contained in the various galleries all of which were donate by leo owners. If you have a photo that you would like added to the sites new galleries, named ‘Work', ‘Rest' and ‘Play', please send them in to the committee website coordinator for inclusion and we will do our best to get them uploaded in a timely fashion (jpeg is usually best if you are sending an electronic photograph). As always the site will need your input to make it interesting, so if you have an event date for the diary, or a photograph for one of the galleries please let us know, but please remember that this may take time as all material must have committee approval first before being added.

We have as your committee decided not to include an open discussion forum to this site, maintenance of such forums can be very time consuming for those who have to monitor them and with the free availability of so many forums already dedicated to Leonbergers we thought it an unnecessary addition. We have also decided against a guest book as these were quite poorly utilised with previous sites and also needed to be monitored for appropriate content. As a result, any such forums or guestbooks that may bear the name of the Leonberger Club of Great Britain are in no way controlled or supported by the official Leonberger Club of Great Britain and therefore we cannot be held responsible for the content, monitoring or running of any such forums or guest books.
